The world of Gangs of Mafia spans 10 real Arab cities. You travel between them by ticket, and every city has its own prices, lands, zones and gangs; when a gang controls a city, its leader's name shows on the city map.

How do you profit from trade?
- Buy goods in a city where they are cheap, then travel and sell them where the price is higher.
- Selling in the city you bought in earns no more than you paid; the real profit is in travel.
- Prices change, so watch them before buying a big load.
- A premium account raises your trade capacity, and the trader profession gives extra profit.
Lands and zones
Every city has lands and zones you buy and build income-making factories and buildings on. The gang that gathers many zones in one city controls it, and its boss becomes that city's City Basha.
- Lands: 30 lands in every city at $3,000,000 each; every player owns one land only, and you must be in the city to buy. Protect it with a fence, motion detector, minefield and satellites, and sell it to the government for half its value whenever you like.
- Zones: 30 zones in every city at $15,000,000 each, then you build on it. The gang whose members own 25 zones in one city controls it.
✈️ Travelling between cities
You travel from the travel page with a ticket priced by city, one trip every 15 minutes. A private plane from an airport on the lands cuts the wait between trips a lot (5 minutes). Watch out for customs when you travel with goods: they can search you and seize part of the load.
Travel matters for more than trade: you must be in a player's city to shoot him, lands and zones are bought while you stand in that city, and organised crime runs in the city where its leader is.
The kinds of trade in the game
- Drugs and weapons: prices change every hour and your load grows with your rank. A warehouse adds 50% and a transport car doubles it.
- Antiques: from rank Kingpin: rare relics, manuscripts and gold coins. The load is smaller but each trip earns more than any other trade; prices swing harder and customs seize 20% if they search you.
- Diamond smuggling: diamond shipments between cities, where the dangerous routes pay more.
- The stock market: 8 companies whose prices change every 10 minutes. Buy on the dips and sell on the rises.
